Hi All,
I have been thinking in investing in a real 12v air pump for the boat. I have a small 120v one that half inflates our tube and then I finish it off with a hand pump. anyway, the good pumps come with alligator clips for the battery since they draw too much power from a cigarette lighter.
this is inconvenient since all of our junk is typically under the hatch. so what I was thinking was building one in and hard wiring it with a water proof switch and a fuse. that is as far as I have gotten in my thinking.
has anyone done this before who can provide some guidance / advise? or maybe point to purpose build product?
thanks
