brp's XD-100 vs Brp's XP-S Synthetic 2-stroke

anyone have any idea if i can run xd-100 2 stroke oil on my 787 rfi?

xd100 is evinrude etec's fully synthetic oil. i can save a lot of money if i would use it. i dont see why not but just wanted a second opinion.

Does the bottle say it is high quality low ash API TC? If it does you can use it. If it says NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or ashless type 2-stroke oil do not use. Also avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil
as resulting chemical reaction may cause severe engine damage.

well just for info. the xd 100 does say low ash high quality synthetic. i work on evinrude e-tec's so it might be a little cheaper for me to get it and plus the nearest place for me to buy xp-s is 90 miles away at Riva south in key largo florida.

i'm assuming id have to completely drain my oil in my seadoo's to correctly do it. or just mix it and hope to get lucky that nothing goes wrong

Here is the specific on oil and fuel recommended by seadoo.
Use High quality low ASH API TC Injector oil.
Do Not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ash less type 2 cycle oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction will cause severe engine damage. Never mix Mineral or synthetics oil together.

Never use fuel containing more than 10 % alcohol,( Methanol or Ethanol) as severe damage will occur. The minimum of 87 octane is recommended for most engines.

If the oil isn't mixing properly, you'll need more than luck to keep it from seizing...

lol off thread topic sorry can increased ethanol levels in fuel cause any sensor problems, iim picking up a warnning light that doesnt show up in any manual that i have

By Law, the highest level is 10% to date that I have seen. What signals and / or beeps are you getting?

remember i had a 04 3d and i dont have a usual gauge. my warning light goes on and off constantly at a steady pace. it doesnt effect the motor at all i just cant find wat it means.
