hey i got a 2000 seadoo gti 718cc i took it on the water today and when i give it a lil bit a gas it dose like 5km but when i hold down the gas it dosent move any where it just idols high.someone please help me thanks

Please give more info, does it only idle or does it rev but not move?

If your getting high RPMs and no speed you have a propulsion problem. Low RPMs and no speed you have a fuel or engine problem.

Probably time for a new wear ring and have the impeller cleaned up.

im not sure what u mean by propulsion problem im new to seadooing.it revs high but dosnt move any where.thanks

rob...look inside the pump, make sure nuth'n in there, also, look underneath the ski, make sure nuth'n block'n the "grate". If all is clear, look inside the pump again, and see if there is "space" between the impellor blade and inner pump body (this is where the "wear ring" is located).

i took off the grate and found a stick jamed in with my impellor.i took the stick out and it works great.i thot i was going to have to put lots of money into it but it was only a sick thank good ness.thanks a lot guy for your help.PS is there anything i should be doing to keep it runing good.
