Got tired of hammering in seals on my trailers when I service the bearings and surely did not want to hammer in my pump bearings on my seadoo pump.. Bought a 20 ton press and $100 for the seadoo pump bearing and seal installer tool to be used on the press. 20 ton is overkill for the pump but now I can handle just about anything.... Makes the job a piece of cake!

There won't hardly be a month that goes by without a project coming your way to put it to use your gonna love having that. Is that by chance the newer style one Harbor Freight is selling? That looks like a pretty stout frame for a 20 ton unit I like that a lot.

LOL... I have been trying to figure out all the ways to use it! Yes, it is the new one Harbor Freight is selling. A huge difference from the old one. I actually went to the store trying to buy the old one as it was on sale but after seeing the new version I pulled the trigger. Thinking about converting it over to air over hydraulic.

I just got rid of the old orange 20 ton model in June, I've heard the new one is greatly improved on the frame design and I need a small one like that for the house every time I have to press something I have to go all the way up to the shop and back.

That looks like a winner, I'm gonna grab one this weekend.

Oh cool thank you! Appreciate the coupon they don't send out the mailer's here like they used to with those as often and I don't always have time to read the email flyers when it's the busy season.

Oh man those were good, bring the family over I have 4 freezer bags with about 10 pounds of tails and claws in each bag we can do a boil. I bought a proper steam basket pot to cook them in saltwater and the results are night and day versus just boiling them.

If I only lived closer than 4.5 hours from you!!!

You will use that press for a "TON" of things... LOL

But seriously, you will.. Find some nice blocks of hardwood. Some flat-stock metal that is like 2 or 3 inches thick, automotive bearing tool...

You will become very creative
on how to handle things.

Find a brake kit and do some creative sheet metal work for the skies. :-)

i'm driving now, will call for directions somewhere around north Georgia....

damn, if only you were closer. i've got some axle shafts that need new bearings and seals installed. that animal would make quick work of it. too bad i don't have space for it in my garage.

any video on how to actually press the bearings out for a 4 tech? just got my pump off, bought the rebuild kit, and now I am afraid to start, thinking I might damage something.

A good man can always find room for another tool! So what if you cannot move around. I tend to put almost everything big on wheels so I can roll out and in as needed.

Luv2Camp - nothing like having the power to squash stuff - Aaaarrrggg! I like the rig.

You should be able to find the manual to download. I have not rebuilt a 4 tech so not going to try to give you any advice in case anything different than the 2 strokes. I did find a video on impeller removal and wear ring replacement.

The old orange ones were a complete POS and janky. They really stepped up the quality (can that be said in the same breath?) on the new units. The old table which is made of two pieces of C back to back were not welded parallel, the new one is the same but aligned much better. And when your using a press every thing needs to be level and square. You got a solid deal on that for sure!

I have the manual but it shows using their special tools. Already have impeller off, heading to a friend's machine shop now to get it done. He said we'll just do measurements before and after.

Gary did you look at the HF 12 ton press at all? My local HF still only has the old style orange 20 ton models in stock that everybody hates the frame on but they do have the newer style 12 tons in finally. I had to drive up to the shop twice again this week to use my big one and I need to do another pump next week.
