Bilge pump 2006 Utopia

Hi, I just purchased a 2006 Utopia and am having a great time with it at the lake. The bilge pump was working great at first but now will not work automatically. it does work with manual switch on dash. We tried to flush with a hose and I did remove a lot of debris. The question I have is. Is there a trick to remove pump? The dealer I called said it should come out with a twist and pull. It is in a very difficult location to reach. Also is the float switch attached to the pump? Thanks to any one who can help.
Are there free shop manuals available for down load? Thanks again

From BRP site we have the same bilge, with Ultima auto switch, mine went bad as well. Take a look here and see if it helps.

I replaced my auto switch yesterday, It was simple, the original had a rattling piece in it???!!!.....something failed....new one works like a charm....eBay.

the auto part of the bilge is a constant live even when you isolate the power .there is a fuse near the battery for the auto bilge a 3 amp fuse ,it is proberbly blown.
