I have a 2006 SeaDoo RXP and I am wondering what is a good diagnostic scanner to buy to plug into the ski to see why it’s in limp mode

Candoo Pro seems to the tool of choice for the Seadoo DIYER. BUDS is the proprietary software used by authorized Seadoo shops and is available in a pirated version but you need some computer software abilities to set it up. You can also download a service manual and it will tell you what faults will cause your ski to go into limp mode and if it is actually in limp mode. IBR faults and over temps are the main two.

Think 2006 are like 2005 you can at least see what fault codes are there by attaching the lanyard hitting the mode button 5 times it will cycle through the fault codes, i may have to play around on my 2005 to be exact on procedures, or CanDoo Pro.
