I personally like to see "restored" items whether it's cars, old Player pianos (i have one), skis, etc.
I'm trying to get my neighbor to sell me his skis late 90's XP and GTi, but so far no dice, They have been sitting for yrs in his yard....saving them for the grandkids I guess.

look again u stupid &^(*&&^()( , the name of thread is before and after/pics and what u done since u bought it, did u put up a pic, .....................no .................did u say what u did after u bought it................no, so u destroyed this thread, and others, cause i know others told u bout the same, i removed all other stuff here earlier, and dont pm anymore cause ill just send em to all the members

Ive done quite a bit to my boat. I'll just add a few pics though. I found the boat 3 years ago with only 85 hours on it. It was totally stock. Since then Ive spent about $3500 on making it the way I want. The biggest expense was the audio system and 2nd battery. That ran $1700. For cosmetics, i added hydroturf, new decals and the oem bimini. Inside I added a voltmeter and LED lights. The boat looked good after that and i couldnt take the trailer not looking nice, so i replaced everything on it. New wheels, all LED lights, new jack, winch and all chains. Now ive pretty much got it the way i want it. BUT the downside to that is ive got almost 11,000 wrapped up in a 14 year old boat. Ill never be able to get anything close to that out of it, so i wont sell it. I got tons of threads with all the mods as i did them.

Thanks, I originally bought it either for my wife or to fix up and sell, but I think I've changed my mind. My wife still likes the 96GTI, so she says I need to sell either the GSX or the XP because we usually only have two riders. I'm working on her to keep all three. If it doesn't work out I'll let you know.
BTW nice boat. Where do you go boating, doesn't look like the Ohio River? The fifth picture looks like the boat is in the fire station.

Thanks... the last pic is at work. Its nice to be able to bring it here and work on it on the weekends. The first pic is cumberland. I keep the boat at my house and im only 15 minutes from the ohio river. So we go there on days when i just have a few hours to kill. When im going out for a couple days, its usually somewhere down south. Use to be cumberland mostly, but Norris lake in TN is my favorite now. I love that place. Think ill try Herrington or Cave run next year, maybe we can plan a day.
