Battery Problems - 2016 Sea Doo Spark 2 Up

Hey, I purchased a brand new battery for my spark. I used the battery once without problems. After two weeks of not using the machine the battery no longer turns over. I have had the battery connected to a tender ever since. The only way I can get the battery to turn over is when I have it connected to the charger. Any ideas?

A brand new battery should LAST a lot longer than a couple weeks sitting inside the ski (doing nothing)....BUT:
1) The battery could be bad nonetheless
2) there could be a parasitic draw on the battery from the ski itself (a dead short somewhere, corrosion)

Check that it is charging,,,and of course the connections
