Battery light stays on 2012 c180se?

The last two times I took my boat out the battery light seemed to illuminate at times while its running!
I do not use the radio with the boat off
The boat is 2.5 months old
It has 9 hours on it
It came with an interstate marine battery
I always use a battery tender on the battery after use
Of course the lite could be faulty,and I guess the battery could be defective ,but I'm just looking to find out if anyone has had similar problem ,and if so how was it handled

Test the voltage at the battery when it is running. I would bet you will find you are at 12 volts or less. I would think you have a connection issue or a charging issue...
