Well had an awesome day... Picked up a Bandsaw (Carbotec) $120au as well as a 16" Scroll saw $40, and to top it off a Pedestal Drill with 2 drill vices $100... all second hand but all in great working order.... 
:thumbsup: Only need a 15cfm compressor, a planer thickenesser and a mig welder and workshop is almost complete to start my build on v8 speedboat.. :thumbsup:
