Backrest Assembly - 2005 Seadoo Sportster

I have a 2005 seadoo sportster and lost one of my backrest assembly's.

I cant find this part anywhere.

Seadoo says its on back order and they don't know if it will ever be in stock again.

I cant believe for the life of me that they don't make this part anymore.

It blew out of the boat on the highway somewhere when i was training it home one night.

I have looked endlessly for it on the highway.

Can anyone help me please.

look on eBay for someone parting out a boat... but it's the same back as the 2010 boat. Any dealer should be able to get it for you.

On second thought... is your boat an LE?

If it is... then it's the old seat, and they are discontinued. Here again... eBay, or someone parting out a 14.5' boat. It will probably be the wrong colrs... but you can have Kcr357 re upholster it for you.

I checked all over ebay and internet for this part, but cant find it.

Intresting though you say it is the same seat as the 2010 model.

I will look into that
