the look/feel, in person, just felt 'cheap'... I knew it was plastic going into it, but even the plastic trim, the handlebar pad, everything just looked and felt
cheap. After years observing car interiors the same thing applies. Moving over to the $12k skis, the plastics all over were just.. better.. the seats bigger, thicker...
the concept is great, they just need to make a $10k one with 130HP and just a
little bit nicer.
it was never the price tag of a new ski that kept me out of the dealer... it was the 800 lb boat these ski's have become.
a 2002 XP was $7200 new in 2002. What's that in today's $?

$9400
so yea, for $10k, I'd get a plastic ski, but BETTER plastics... BETTER rubber, BETTER seats...
I may not be their target demo, but I'm not sold on them...
I'm hoping they improve them over the next few years though... say fix this part, a little better plastic here...
it just came SO CLOSE... it was a disappointment, it felt like it needed another $200-400/ski invested to push it to where I'd be curious.
