I got a new latch cable but can't seem to figure out if I'm missing some sort of retainer. I have a rope connected to open my latch lol. If I connect the cable to the latch and pull from up front. The cable housing moves out back through the hole and the cable hook stays attached leaving my latch up-openable. I looked at the parts diagram but I'm not seeing anything that holds it in place.
