I installed a second battery on a 2010 speedster with out moving anything. i used the factory location thats all you have to do is turn both batterys side ways... first i unbolted the factory battery tray use that as a stencle on a piece of plywood that i painted. second bolted the plywood down to the exact location as the factory battery tray and then just screwed both battery trays down to the wood just make your piece of wood long enough to hold two trays sideways then just wire up to a switch .. its really tight in there but it works in the end hope this helps you

That seems like a good idea. Did you use any glue under the plywood or do you just have it bolted down on half of it? Pictures would be great! Thanks!

I Just bolted it down to where the oem bolts went through the fiberglass ..................Sorry it took so long they finally pulled there boat an i was able to may it down there
