Hi all...I have a 2008 sea doo challenger 230 se. I need to gain access to under the drivers side window. The window is broken and I want to put something in the track to keep it from falling down. Any ideas on whats the easiest way to get under there? I know I can remove the top cushion part but I feel that I'll break something. Anyone know a trick to removing that cushion? Also my horn and electric windows don't work...checked the fuse under the steering wheel and they seem fine...any ideas?

I removed the top cushion to gain access to my console. If you get a good grip on it and pull straight up you won't break anything. The cushion is held in with a couple metal tabs and then 2 or 3 plastic darts. So worse case you ruin a dart. I am tossing the idea around of removing my darts and installing snaps as I like to have easy access and there is a ton of unused space in the drivers and passemgers consoles. As for you horn and electric windows not working after you get under the console get out your multimeter and start checking to make sure you have power at the devices. It sounds like you could have a broken or disconnected wire from the fuse to the device. The other thing I have seen a lot in marine appplications is that the switch will corrode. Good luck!!
