Well I had the chance to see first hand a bad sea-doo mehcanic. The story a 2000 sea-doo rolled and filled the motor with water so it was taken to the local dealer to fix the dealer took the head off cleaned the rave valves instaled new plugs cleaned all water from the motor and gave it back to the customer after 10 min. of running it would blow a ruber hose on the exhust. It blew this hose 4 times then the dealer put in a steel flex hose. I was at the same cottage site as this man so he seen my Doo and asked if I knew anything about them at first I said no but asked what it was doing so to make a long story short the DEALER had the cooling lines reversed so the hose on the exhuast was not blowing it was melting there was no water flowing into the exhuat manafold so the rubber hose between the manifold and the muffler would melt not once but 4 times and it took me 2 minutes to figure out. So the man was so happy I fixed it he bought me a case of beer and left it on my doorstep with a note. True story just last weekend how can a sea-doo dealer not know he had a waterflow problem after it melted 4 hoses and turned the paint on the manifold brown.:confused::confused:

That is a bad story about a seadoo dealer...must be new helper or something. Not every mechanic is seadoo certified, sometimes mechanics run under one mechanics certified flag, but aren't really certified at all, just the main mechanic is.

That's the best tasting beer there is...FREE!
