I have been stealth searching the site for a few weeks now. Thought I would say hello and introduce my 2 problem child'. I used to be a proud own of 2 97 gsx with only 50 hrs on them. They look brand new I just want to ride them not work on them haha 1 had a cracked head from not being winterized correctly which I didn't know was cracked at first. Replaced the jugs and pistons which previous owner helped with the cost. rebuilt both sets of carbs. Then fuel lines replace on both. About sunk one that was sitting tied up to house boat over night. Found lower fin that was loose and not sealing letting water in. I think I still have a few carb issues that I have to fix . I got them at a good price but with all the repairs it's getting close to being just a regular retail buy. Nothing worse than letting something sit and not used. just want to ride and not worry about what's gonna go wrong next. The last time out had to swim 1 in about 1/4 to 1/2 mile while wife watch from the dock. Any other day there would be a dozen boats in and out of the ramp but not this day. That was a long swim for a old fat man. Haha thanks for all the info I have searched already
