A good day on the Pittsburgh Rivers

I've been out there a few times now... but I haven't made it out there this year.


So... you up for a day on the river? We have a few more weeks before the weather starts turning cold. I would like to see the section of river you are talking about. Where is the ramp exactly? (I'd like to google the map)

Absolutely!

I plan on trying to get out this weekend. I have a party to attend late this Saturday afternoon, but could ride till about 1 pm. Or, I may have the entire day to ride on Sunday.

I know where Tony is at. DJ/DSW what area do you guys live in? I'm 30 minutes south of downtown (Peters Twp)

I'm from Elizabeth originally, but moved to South Park a few months ago. I tend to put in on southside, but my uncle lives in Ford City, so i try to make it up there sometimes too to put in by Crooked Creek.

DJ, my buddy is heading up to Raystown this weekend with his Four Winns. He spoke very highly of it... I'd love to make it up there sometime

I am going to Cali with my parents this weekend for the Pebble Beach car concours... but next weekend I am going to try to make it out at least sunday, possibly saturday too. I have a lot of boating to make up for since I've been boat-less all summer!

That's the last weekend in August... and basically the end of Summer.
