99 XP limited carb choke set screw?

My 99 XP came with this bolt on the top of the cab choke pin and it’s hitting the exhaust pipe. Only moves 1/4 inch. Is this the wrong screw or is the exhaust mounted incorrectly? Thanks

Mine has small set screws. I had to replace them as they were missing. The new ones are a little long and will hit my exhaust but can still travel with a little effort.

Thanks for the reply. I may need just to hit the hardware store for a flush one then. Ive seen a few images with this bolt so I had some concern that something wasn't installed correctly. looks like its been scratching the exhaust for awhile from the previous guy
