what do you guys thing the blue book would be on a 99 sea doo speedster twin 110s monster tower good compression two seats have small rips fresh wear rings installed

those are the retail numbers if you were buying at a dealership. i was wondering what the private party value was

Thats all I could find. At least you know what it would sell for in a dealership so now just drop the price 10-20% I would say.

This time of year it's what the owner wants. These boats were only made 2 years with this hull setup. It's the most wanted, especially with the 110's.
If you look at the nada value of a boat, look at the fine print at the bottom. It states that boats in excellent condition are dramatically higher in price.
I personally wouldn't take 7k for mine. Could never replace it.

For one in good condition I would expect it to run around 5500 to 6000. Maybe a bit more this time of year. If you find it for 5000 or less that is a great deal. If it needs some work, I would pay like 4500 for it. I have thought about selling mine but honestly I would have to get 7500 to 8000 for it and that would be a tough sell.

i paid 4700 for it. it is water ready. it has the monster wake board tower. the only problem it has two small rips in one of the seat bottoms.

Def sounds like a good deal. I have been having trouble finding one in my area (Chicago). Many of the ones posted around here are either much more (like 8K) or have major imperfections (bad motor). Even the ones for 8k, have appearance defects, no radio, etc....for 8k, I'd expect something with only minor issues.

Depending on the time of the year... Locally, I've seen them from $4500 to $6k. Personally... any more than $6k, I would be looking for a bigger boat.

Thats the main reason I havent sold mine and upgraded to something bigger. By the time you figure in the $3500 ive put into mods, i could never replace it.

Feelin' a little more comforted in hearing the estimates of what a good price is for this model '99 Speedster. I paid a fair bit less (nothing like the $1500 or $2000 in the 'post your deals' thread) for mine, needs a new throttle cable., but I've put 10hrs on it already and it's been going beautifully. Hull is in MINT Shape., my buddy with a newer sportser (and LOTS of maintenance expereince-he rides his HARD) assured me it was a crazy deal.

If you found it for 6000 or less that far north that would be a great deal. They seem to be even more harder to find in Canada.

Oh yeah....just over half that...Yikes! I think I'm gonna put a grand into it already though. Did something on the week-end which might eat up a couple bills, and my first 4 hour trek three weeks ago resulted in a little chip or two in the hull :(. Already had a gelco guy quote me the cosmetic repairs hehe. I'm particular so I want to fix it and just learn the lesson.

You can easily fix the gel cote yiurself. That is a very easy fix. Plenty of videos on youtube. I fixed a buch of spots including one that was an inch wide by 10 inches long. Took me about 4 hours and 2 of that was waiting for it to dry. You cant even tell its there now. The factory gel cote maker for BRP is located in canada and you can buy the factory colors in a repair kit for 50 bucks.

What else did you break?
