99 seadoo xp- no spark

I just bought a 99 xp limited 951. it ran fine the first day but then only went half power after that. i changed the plugs and noticed one plug wasn't firing. now I cant get a spark at all. water did get into the electrical box last weekend when it got tiped over. Maybe I need new coils? How would i check the coils are good? thanks

drain/clean out the box, wip any due. Check connects and fuses. Meantime, cut plug wires from boot ends 1/4in, then try for spark, no go,.. then disconnect wire from coil, see if she kicks. If so, then prob w/ switch or rev limiter inside mpem, if not, then coil or stator places to start...:cheers:also, check volts at battery, too

If it has the old gray fuel lines, they are disintegrating on the inside, and clogging up the fuel system.
You should replace the fuel lines, and clean all the filters. There is on at the fuel tank, on the bottom of the fuel baffle. There is one in line, to the motor, that traps water too. There is one in each carburetor. And then, you should clean the fuel select valve, that selects ON-OFF-RES.

And, while you have the carb(s) off, clean them out too.

It's a bummer!
