I bought a 99 gtx from a guy back in Feb. It needed a new bottom end and new pistons. Put it all back together and put in ski. I didn't hook up the pump yet. Injectors were soaked in Seafoam and had carb cleaner blown through them. I drained the old fuel and put in new fuel with some HEET. Primed oil pump and everything. Put the lanyard in, two beeps and fuel pump primes. Press start and motor fires and dies immediately after. I try again and it just cranks and cranks. Pulled plugs and look wet (and a little oily). Great spark, no problem there. I pull the fuel injectors and crank engine with them out. Both are spraying just fine. Put back in. I haven't checked compression yet but with new pistons and bored out cyls I would think I'd be fine (my friend has my gauge). All the sensors are the original ski's. I've checked resistance of most sensors but my meter only goes up to 1k ohm so I haven't checked everything.
If i wait a couple hours and try to start it it fires right up but dies immediately. If i pull plugs, crank a few times, and put plugs back in, it will start and immediately die.
What's going on here? Is it getting too much fuel?
