I have a 99 gsx rfi I went through whole machine. Many new parts good compression. This is my first ski, what should top speed by @ what rpm?

I had it on the lake other day doing mid 30's with mid- 3/4 throttle.

Also on the Raves I have them screwed in about level. If I screw them in more will I get better hole shot? What is a good way to keep them even?

all stock the motor should spin up about 6800-6900 rpm.

the raves won't do much for your holeshot, they really just move the mid range powerband around. iirc the RFI skis have the RAVEs controlled by the ecu so adjusting the springs doesn't do anything for you. i think they are supposed to be turned two turns in though, but check the service manual to be sure.

In a GSX with a 787 I would think it should hit about 55 or a bit higher at WOT ....6900-7000 RPM. Depending on the weight load it's carrying.

Seadoosource.com rates it at 57mph

I never full throttle it. But @ 3/4 throttle I was around 5200 rpm. Sound right? Was doing about high 30's. I am 200 lbs
