I installed new stator and battery now I get 12v low starts fine but has bog above 1/2 throttle let off gas and coast then it will go then bog again. 13.5 volts at idle. What is going on is it the rectifier. And I guess rectifier is built into MPEM

You can check to see if metal particles are in the coils of your Stator already, from a bendix on its way south. What Voltage at 5500 rpm?
If you do not open the magneto housing you will be wasting your time trying to diagnose the problem as the pickup can test good but still there may be another problem with the stator grounding out. Either way, the mag housing is where you will find the problem, open it up and
re-check. If I am wrong, you can buy an external heavy duty rectifier.

My rectifier is built into my MPEM Last summer I was blowing fuse located in coil box while running after about 10 min. Stator fixed that problem ran for 30 min today. I checked voltage most I could get was 13.5V ski runs good just no top end. Idle around a bit then it will accelerate then bog back down Like battery has a quick boost. Now my gauges wont work

Gauges are a PITA when they don't work. An un-nessesary accessory. Cut a pic of your girl to fit. Its a free fix and you could have fun without them. remove the fuses, air chuck them, apply dielectrical grease, re-install fuses. They might come back! You could also read the Shop Manual on testing electrical components. You may have gotten water in the mpem fuse recepticles.

Yea they suck when they dont work I will look at wiring today. I'm thinking about ordering a new MPEM off of EBAY.

I took Stator back apart to look for metal didn't find any to speak of but I cant get more than 12.56 volts at throttle. When you put key on you get 2 short beeps followed by 1 long beep
