Some history on my ski. Last year my ski shut off and would only run at idle. As soon as I would give it gas the machine would shut off. I took it to a local place and they spent most of the winter trying to figure out what was wrong and ended up rewiring a lot of the ski b/c the wires were coroded along with other problems. Got the ski back put it in and took it for a ride. Everything worked great. I pulled it and flushed it out and it sat for a month or so. This weekend I went to use it and it started right up and I noticed the gas guage was not working then I would hear a long beep. I took it for a short ride and it would beep every now and again.

I am assuming the 1 long beep means the gas guage or sending unit is not working. Has anyone had this problem and how did you go about fixing it?

Thanks

One long beep means an over heat problem when it is running. Was there water coming out the "Tell Tail"?

Yes there was water coming out. Also after I shut it off it a little bit later not sure of the time it will beep again once more. Could a sensor or wiring have gone bad?

With all the wiring that was done anything is possible. I would start checking all the connections and the temp. sensor too, to be sure it is working. If it is overheating you will want to know.

I rode it for about 4 hours with out any issues so I am sure if it was overheating it would not have lasted that long. Is there a wiring diagram online that I could look at to trace these wires?

Also just realized I posted this in the boat section. Sorry about that.
