98gtx/rfi pump oil

I usually have my ski winterized buy dealer but now dealer wont work on seadoos. I want to try winterizing it myself. I have a 28 foot boat that I winterize myself so I know about running anti freez and fogging. My question is how do I change the jet pump oil. Never did it before and need some help.Thanx

Changing the oil is a easy job but I would buy a manual or become a premium member then you would be able to read the manuals on line. You need to remove the back part of the pump leaving the pump still bolted to the ski there is only a few bolts to remove. Then you remove the nose cone and let the oil drain out. Then you bolt the nose cone back on. remove the allen screw from the nose cone and fill with synthetic 75 90 gear oil. :cheers:

How far does the filler screw go into the housing - does it stop? Mine seems like I will screw it right thru?
