I am rebuilding my engine

I was wondering for the if i got this right. You pull wheel off the injection side remove the flywheel move the magneto cylinder to top dead center and mark the degrees. Curious of the degrees is for this model. On the pto side is there anything to do

Manual....?

You say your rebuilding the 947cc engine? I hope you have the manual. The 947 engine does not have a rotary valve. This engine uses the reed block valves.
The timing is not normally adjusted since all the parts are fixed. But, during rebuild, if you don't do the procedures by the manual, you'll need to check your trigger coil setting by a stroboscope.
This procedure your looking at is not something I can just paraphrase into the post. You'll need to fully understand what your doing to perform a check of your timing curve.
Good luck...................
