I just read manual and calls for two special tools any idea on what to use instead of the tools 1.impeller install/remover tool and 2. bearing/seal installer tool Thanks again for any help

I just did a pump/wear ring rebuild on m 97 spx. I had to buy an impeller tool (~$15 or so) and I'm not sure how to do it w/o it. For the bearing removal tool, I used a similarly sized socket w/extension and tapped the bearings and seal out. After you know the rear our, I installed the impeller shaft backwards to get them lined up so I could then drive the front one and seal out--if you get to this point, it'll make sense. For installation of bearings, I simply did the same thing (socket w/extension) and then used a caliper to set the proper depths.

I did a 95 sp with the wodden handle of a hammer to hold the impeller and heated the center of the impeller with a torch to free up the locking compound and it came right off
