was turning over and tried to jump start from another seadoo and everything went dead. is there a fuse or something that could have blown?

Yes - most likely the fuse in the ignition box. Look for the grey plastic box where the plug wires run to.

Never jump these things if you can avoid it. The surge is really bad for the box. Better to charge the battery disconnected from the ski.

Jump starting....

If you are stranded and it becomes necessary, you must ensure the jumping vehicles engine is not running.

When the engine is running, the electrical system is supplying 14 VDC to the battery, when you connect jumper cables, your sending overcurrent to the mpem.........causing a fuse to blow and in some cases, terminal failure.

With the engine from the jumping ski off, you are supplying nothing but the batteries stored 12 volts power supply. This is o.k.

But as JPX advises, you should avoid jumping if at all possible.
