Hey Guys,

Kinda new to the PWC world. I bought this craft last year and had no probs at all. First ride this season I am getting a repeating electronic beep/tone that lasts approx. 3 secs and about 5 mins apart. No message comes across the dash and I have gas but no bars appear on my gage. Everything worked fine last year. I did however kill the battery over the winter storage. The battery came back no problem, sled starts right up. I tried disconnection of the battery to reset the electronics, but still nothing on the fuel gage and continuous signal.

All fuses and connections look good!

Help? Has anyone heard of this problem?

Dave

Fuel baffle has one of several possible problems:
1. float has a leak, sinks to bottom and makes gauge think it is empty
Remove baffle and replace float or in a pinch, find the leak and plastic weld it sealed.
2. magnets on float fell off with same result
Remove baffle and replace float or reinstall magnets (if you can find them)
3. blown surface mount fuse on the baffle's circuit board
Solder a straight bridge (short) where the fuse is. Requires a bit of guts to cut open the side of the baffle and plastic weld it back together.

You can also test the circuit at the terminals. But most of the time those are fine as well as the gauge. More likely something about the baffle isn't working right.
