I'm replacing the tempo fuel lines, and see that OEM was 8mm and 6mm in size, based upon what is stamped on the hoses. It looks like most is plumbed with the 8mm, and a 6mm fuel return line. All the threads I have run across talk about using 1/4" line, but I'm guessing that since this is a 951, I should be using something bigger. 8MM is pretty much 5/16", so I bet I need to be purchasing the 5/16" instead of 1/4", right?

Thanks,

Mike

You are correct. You will need 5/16 or 8mm fuel line. Return lines are 1/4." Other threads are describing replacement of fuel lines on 587, 657, 717 & 787 engines.
Replace the fuel selector valve while you are at it.

Yep, I remember now using 5/16" and 1/4" on mine. These were a tight fit on those plastic nipples, so be careful. 3/8" was definitely too large.

Yep. About 18' 5/16'' and say 8' of 1/4'' fuel line. Just remember you do NOT have to replace the vent lines (as they don't carry fuel)

To help with the nipples, use some silicone spray or a drop of oil before twisting them on.
