Yesterday had it running on water and it stalled out with the water still running. I was able to turn off the water in a few seconds. I was still able to motor it over and their didn't appear to spit any water out of the plug holes. Charged the battery and starter only "bumped" wouldn't spin over like normal. This morning all it does is click the solenoid. I was able to push a piston down with no problems. Its not locked up. What next the solenoid or the starter itself? I checked all the fuses... all good. Beeps normally. The starter looks like a pain to remove.

I jumped across the 2 terminals.. no joy not even a spark. Went ahead and pulled the starter, wasn't that hard. I tried to spin it over by attaching a battery to it using negative to bare metal on the housing, and positive to the terminal. I heard a little noise like when you attach cables and it did nothing. When you rotate the starter shaft it doesn't sound real healthy. It's probably the original starter, pretty well rusted and corroded. Now where to buy the cheap aftermarket starter?

Ordered a replacement starter from DB Electric off Ebay. They have a 1 or 2 year no hassle warranty. Hope to have it Wed, coming from Tn. Very good prices ($69.95) and they've got an excellent rating.

Got the starter this evening, installed a lot easier than it came out! Turns over good, defenitely was the starter. On the third pull of the primer it lit right off. Alright, back in business hit the bay this weekend. Keep DB Electric in mind if you need a replacement starter. Ordered it on the 20th got it on the 24th. Excellent service!
Ride like you stole it......
