Hey Everyone. I am new and pretty inexperienced. I have a motor with a 5015 on the side. According to manuals it says it should be a 5662.??? What do I have??? What is the correct numbers??? HELP. Thanks
someone probably swapped a rebuilt motor from another ski that came with a 787, the 97 was the only year in that hull that came with the 787, the next year on it was a 951.

Find the ROTAX tag (normally on the front housing) it will give you all the info you need on the engine. (black rectangle tag with silver/white imprints. But knowing your year/model ski. It should come with the 787cc engine.
5662 is the model number for the 97 xp, and should be on the barcode sticker on the stern of the ski after the HIN number. If you have a number engraved on the motor it is probably and sbt serial from their rebuild or something. The sticker on the rear upper engine case has type 787 and lists the bore and stroke and displacement along with a unique engine serial which is also listed on my title.

there was a later version of the same motor that was fuel injected, but the only motor that would fit in your ski without fiberglass work is the 787, and it's pretty distinct, factory motor is white, i think the SBT motors come in silver, cylinders canted over to the left side with RAVE valves. exhaust goes up and over and down the left side of the ski.
