ive cleaned all electrical connections removed ground from starter cleaned.I get no beeps when key is on and everytime i put a new 5a fuse in the mpem slot and i connect the neg battery terminal it sparks and pops the fuse please help! i bought it last night and want to ride it this weekend!

The most common causes are jump starting the ski or running with a bad battery.
You sound handy with tools so the fastest way to test this is place a Voltage Ohm Meter from ground loop to the 5 amp fuse location or red wire.
A short indicates the MPEM is bad. An open indicates you have another problem. I can assure you that you have a short.
