Alright well i already put a thread up on pwctoday and i got some responses i need a second opinion on. The ski is a 97 spx and ever since i have had it (2yrs) it has gone through a set off plugs every month. It looks like its running a bit rich and fouls them. It will run like a dream and then after the said month or so it will be sluggish and won't go past 30mph. Put new plugs in and were good to go! I posted a thread and asked if is should leave it or adjust the mixture. I got a bunch of guys telling me i need to rebuild the carbs and set the pop off. I can rebuild the carbs but i am not to sure about what the pop-off is? I don't get why a rebuild is necessary for this and i don't know what pop-off is? If you guys could help me with those two things and possibly give me point in the right direction of where i should go to look for a rebuild kit if that is the case i would really appreciate it. I do not want to come acros as questioning the unbelievable amount of knowledge these guys have i just need to get a second opinion because this seems to be a pretty drastic solution for hat seems to be a small problem.

Also how is it that running these skis rich will blow the engine. That goes against everything i have ever known.
