So I rebuilt (actually cleaned and reused the old carb parts) and launched it for the first time today. It runs pretty good but sometimes it just dies--sometimes completely and sometimes if you work the throttle it will continue to idle. Most times it'll refire and you can cruise along some more. Seems like a fueling issue but I've cleaned the entire system and replaced all the fuel lines. You can run it WOT for several miles and it'll be ok and then sometimes at part-throttle or even WOT it will do it---very sporadic. I ran ~8-9 gallons through it and it did it 6-7 times. Any thoughts? I thought the DESS was coming dislodged but I've eliminated it after really paying attention.

bump........any words of wisdom. I have not checked the RAVEs yet but will do so this week. From what I've read, it doesn't seem that dirty RAVEs would cause this but it may be causing my part throttle bog/stumble.

Thanks for any help!

shark...
carbs.....just because you've cleaned them, dont mean there good. Diaphram can be distorded, pop-off aint right, float-arm out of wack..etc. If all good, in these departments, disconnect red wire from rectifier, see if problem resolved...
