97 speedster plastic hinges?

The plastic hinges on both the "cooler" and the storage area on the engine cover are broke. I have Google'd etc with no luck for recommended replacement material?
I thought I had seen a thread on one of the boards but can't find it.

Thede are hinges made of a flexible plastic riveted to the hull and cover... well at least flexible 16 years ago.
