Just got a 97 speedster..It's awesome, but I'm having a problem. I was power washing it, and wonder if I got water where it should not go ( sorry I'm a newbie) anyway since the wash, when the boat has a load, (pulling skier or tube) it bogs down and both engines stall. Also without a load it takes off fine then stalls when you turn. It always starts back up right away. Help did i kill it..is it fuel? electrical? My novice buddy thinks its the fuel filters?

It could be fuel filter related - either the spin on catch can filter or the filters inside the carbs. If the power washing was a little too enthusiastic, then water could have got into the fuel system via the filler cap gasket or a vent line.

On a boat of this age, expect fuel filters in the carbs. And plan on changing the fuel hoses to the carbs as the original grey ones will may have deteriorated inside and contributed to the filter clogging problem.
