ok I have no Gas gauge on my seadoo. Its dosnt work is this a common problem and what does it take to fix it. I figure it has something to so with inside the tank its self.
thanks Jeff

To check it unplug the connector as it goes into the tank. Use a jumper wire between the 2 wires. Install the Dess. If the guage moves to full the problem is not in the guage and is in the tank. If this is the case remove the baffle assy and see if the float is still in the baffle tube. If its gone its on the bottom of the tank. Fish it out with a heavier magnet. Check to see if all 4 magnets are in the float. Insert it in the baffle and tilt it so the float slided back and forth, while it is attached to the plug wireing at the top. If you get restiance and the guage works it must be that the float doesn't float. Put the float in a cup of gas to see if it floats. If you test it in a cup of water, it will always float as water is a different density than gas. Gas is lighter and the float won't float in gas if is gas logged. you'll need to replace the float. Also on some models there is a fuse on the top of the baffle. I'll check on my puter later for the correct model that has the fuse. I'm not on my puter now, so I don't have that info here.
