Hey there

Finally got around to taking the carbs off. They came off and apart pretty easily. I was disappointed that the internal filters werent as clogged as i had anticipated. The internals of the carbs were pretty dirty though. All of the internals were cleaned and all the new parts installed. The carbs kits were bought through SBT and the fuel selector valve and filter assy were bought through cheapcycleparts.com they were about 25% less than the seadoo place. I have bought all the black hose and clamps to complete the fuel line swap but will wait till the selector switch comes in. I had to replace it as the phillips head screw was frozen in place and the head broke off.
Hope this takes care of the problem. while in the hull the port side rear motor mount was broken and has also been ordered.

Cheers,
Brian

Howd it turn out?

97 GTX carb update

Sorry for the delay. There was a problem with fuel selector valve as the screw that holds the knob on was siezed. The head finally broke off so i had to order the valve, screw, knob and filter assy. Then i was sent out of town for the week on work. So when i arrived tonight from work the box o parts was in and i will complete all of this tomorrow along with all the gas lines. I had hoped the internal filters would have been more clogged than they were. Anyway when i put this all back together again and she still doesnt start, i may have to look else where, maybe that rectifier. I will have to read up on where to check it out.
