97 Challenger - Testing Electrical with engine removed

HI, I have a new to me 97 Challenger single 787. I have removed the engine to fix what is needed there and wondered if I hook up the battery, should my bilge pump and exhaust fan work?

Not sure but typically the engine is the ground so maybe not.
