I have a 96 Seadoo XP (5859) that WAS working fine until today. I was running at full throttle, let off, and idled. Then everything went dead. Completely dead. After a two hour tow, I got home checked the battery. The battery is fine.
When I press the Start/Stop button, nothing shows in the multi-function display (which was working fine). When I attach the DESS, nothing. No beeps.
After reading the forum posts, it seems like I may have a plethora of possible starting points. Should I work from the battery to the MPEM changing fuses?
Anyone have an idea on how much a typical dealer would charge to troubleshoot?
