The boat seems to have intermittent cavitation. rpms go up and the boat doesnt want to move and some times it will jump out of the hole. I read somewhere that it can suck air thru the "thru hole seal" Anyone had this happen?

Also I am about to convert to one battery. I read the article on seadoosource http://www.seadoosource.com/battconversion.html and I wondered if the 95 and 96 are the same. So I can wire it just like he has?

Where are the fuel filters located?

Thanks

Jeff

Another Opinion

I have a 95. I decided not to convert to a single battery. When you do that, all your eggs are in a single basket - you lose the ability to cross-feed the batteries and start either engine on the one remaining battery, in case one goes dead. The replacement batteries are only $ 53 at Sears. They are light and easier to lift into the engine compartment. They fit the mounting cases without mods. So what is the advantage of a single battery ? Just my 2 cents.

I agree with having two batteries when there is a battery selector switch. I have just downloaded the electrical schematics for the boat and they are in fact paralleled inside the control module with no isolator.

The reason i want to go with one big battery is for the extra current draw of a stereo system. The smaller batteries combined don't put out enough to run it very long. and yes I am going to bring a jump box along.

thanks for the input I do like to hear others opinions.

BTW does your have intermitent cavitation?

thanks
