96 seadoo gtx please help

This 96 gtx will just die out on me after riding for a couple of minutes. and by die out I mean it looses all power (electrical) then imediatly I can press the start button and it will start without even taking the dess(lanyard) off. then it will do it again after another couple of minutes. I checked all connections. the regulator rectifier and the charging system which will charge at 13.5vdc which is good. I unplugged the gauges and it still did it. The only thing left is the dess post and start stop button and Mpem. And there is a draw on the battery that I believe is coming from the relay assembly in the front electrical box that I don't know what is for. but the draw I would think would only affect the battery when the unit is sitting right?
