There should be a fitting on the rear of the Hull, above the jet pump nozzel It should have a threaded end to accept a gardenhose.
You can hook up the hose to the seadoo and have them run for up to 5 minutes. Connect the hose and start the seadoo. Turn on the water after it is started. Turn off the water, than shut down the seadoo. This way it won't allow water to back flow into the engine through the exhaust due to no back pressure from the engine not running. The bearings and seals on the impeller jet pump are cooled from being in the water. When it is on the trailer it doesn't have that cooling effect so they will get hot after about 5 minutes.
I pre start my seadoo's too, dry before I leave for the launch too. Just for a second or 2 to be sure it will start at launch. Peace of mind is worth lot.

I hope this helps.

My XP has a nipple inside the engine bay, on the hose above the spark plugs. It has a rubber cap over it. If your ski has this kind of fitting, you will need to buy a special hose from Seadoo that has the garden hose fitting on one end, and a spring-loaded snap-on fitting on the other that fits over the nipple.

Seadoo manual says to use something to pinch that hose behind the nipple, to the rear (I use vice grips, set to just gently pinch the hose closed, not so hard as to damage the rubber hose), and use low water pressure so you don't force more water into the engine than the engine can use and flush out the exhaust. If you don't pinch it, the water will just run straight out the back of the ski without flowing through the engine. Some may go through the engine, but most will just flow out the back, where there is less distance and resistance.

Then follow Karl's instructions on flushing the engine.
