I am a newbie I posted this to the wrong forum sorry, I could not figure out how to delete it. I put it on the right one now sorry again.
Every time I take my ski out it runs great for about 45 minutes then begins to bogg down and won't go over 5000 RPM. Once I get it out of the water it will takes two or three presses of the button to get it started but then it will rev to 7000 RPM just fine. Could this be caused by a dead battery. The battery is brand new and read 12.8 volts before and after taking it out. But I think my Stator might be bad and the battery is not charging. I usually only take the ski out every two weeks and when I am not using it I put the battery on a maintainer which is why I think it runs great when ever I take it out but after 45 minutes starts to act up. I am open to any and all suggestions.
