I have posted before about a problem where my ski does not go past like 30 to 35 mph. When it reaches this speed it seems like power just kinda won't flow. It won't go past 5500 on the tach. I have done all the usual, carb cleaning, new fuel lines etc. I read it could be a rectifier issue so as instructed disconnnected the red wire and ran it and the same issue.
When I went to put back on I noticed that sodered male connected come off and now I'm now sure if it's connected well. In the pinch could I just splice these wires?
Ok, back to the problem with the ski, by running it without that red wire can I rule out the rectifier?
