96 GTi, typical bogging at full throttle, 10 seconds run strong, 3 seconds bog, repeat. Pulled tank, fuel valve, fuel filter. Cleaned everything, installed new fuel lines, pulled and cleaned carb filters (pretty well plugged, especially PTO). Carbs looked very clean inside otherwise. Runs much better but still has random bogging 1/2 throttle and above. Is crud in jet or valve seat most likely the next place? Or is full carb rebuilds the only answer?

Any body in north central Indiana that can help on going through the carbs if I pull them?

It could be the small passages that have crap in them and causing the clogging and poor running. Clean all the parts and passages with compressed air to get them open.

im having the same problem with my 94 spx. mine bogs down after about 10 sec of 1/2 to full throttle but when mine bogs down i got to wait for it to stop and get to idle before it can move again.

96 Gsx Having The Same Problem And It Was The Rave On The Back Cylinder, It Came Loose And Was Bad Dirty, Carbon Build Up, Check Them Out Before Pullilng The Carbs, Cause I Was At The Same Point, once They Both Were Cleaned And Put Back In And Set, This Ski Will Fly Now.
