96 GSX "MAINT" on display?

I have "MAINT" on my multipurpose display? What does this mean? Ski has about 150 hours. Runs great though?

It means your regular maintenance is due. If you press the "set" button it should go out.

What would be the Maint for this amount of hours? Is it preprogrammed into the mpem or is there a problem?
