96 gsx 800 won't start

my wife was riding our ski. everything was fine she got off to swim for a few minutes would not start back up. i tried to turn the shaft, wouldn,t turn. i took the plugs out and tried to turn it no luck. did not turn. i bought 2 ski's for our family for christmas and it has been one thing after another finally after riding for one hour on this past friday with no problems. i thought we were good.

David, did you remove the boot tht covers the shaft to the impeller? with the plugs out it should turn counter clockwise. Try to use a pipe wrench to turn it. Be careful not to hurt youself or the machine. What do the plugs look like?

the plugs looked ok. but still could not turn it. tried to pull the shaft out to see if it was in the motor of the impeller could not get it out all the way
